Since 1987, my poems & journal pieces have been published in literary publications, both in print & online. The
Green Velvet Sofa website contains a representative selection of my writing.
I've edited & published various publications over the years; my current project is Voleur de Feu, an occasional online literary & arts magazine.
As proprietress of
Empty Mirror Books, I sell Beat Generation, modern poetry and art books, photos & ephemera.
And, as owner of Quanta Webdesign for the Arts, I create & promote websites for writers, artists, musicians, & other creative people.
I'm also very proficient at research - both online and in the "real world." If you need some research done, please get in touch. My rates are very reasonable. I'm also available for editorial work.

from the pond
in robes of rose & gold

bamboo shoots
under
a first crescent moon
afternoon, hwy 1
up the coast
winding cliffs of ocean
so much further on
old oak pressed back
baby at the breast
of an old cotton dress
behind the kitchen
a sign, a wood -
windows don't open
& papers fall out
the clouds or was it
something dreamed
under the steep below
- headlands fallen from the sea -
creekside rain
aside the empty,
rough-hewn benches in a row
