Frequently Asked Questions About Directory SubmissionsHow quickly will the directories add my link? Some directories will add your link very quickly, within hours or a day or two. Others may take a week, or a month. Some may take longer. When - or if - your link is accepted for a particular directory is a decision made by that directory's editor. We can't guarantee that your link will be added by a particular directory, since that decision is out of our hands. However, we do guarantee that we will submit your site in accordance with each directory's rules, thereby giving it the best chance of acceptance. And, the average approval time is one factor we use when evaluating the directories which we choose to add to our submission list, preferring to submit to sites which have, in our experience, shown reasonably fast approval time. However, some popular directories do have longer approval times, and when we think they are worth the wait we will submit to them as well.
How can I learn which directories have added my link? Some directories will send us a confirmation email when they add your link to their directory. When we send you our report (about 2 weeks after we receive your orders) we will list all directories to which we submitted your link, noting those which we know have already added your link. However, we won't know about all links to your site. This is because many will add your link without notifying us that they have done so. While many links to your site will be added in the first two weeks, more will be added over time. Each directory has its own schedule for adding new links.
