Ron Sauciron is the author of the book, Holistic Medicine for Women’s Health. The website he had wasn’t serving him very well. Its visual design didn’t project an image of health.
Previously, the background image portrayed fading autumn trees and the site’s colors predominant colors were black, grey and dark blue. The text was justified and the font hard to read. The navigation menus weren’t well-organized. And, most importantly, the site didn’t do a good job of promoting sales of his book.
I went in and converted the dark, dreary website to a bright, clean design with a summery background image. The dark colors were changed to healthful green, blue, and yellow. The typography was adjusted for readability. I added a lower menu for easier navigation. The existing navigation menus were cleaned up and redesigned. I added a book cover with a call to action to every webpage. The site is responsive and displays beautifully on mobile devices as well as desktop computers.
Ron’s site has now lost that dark, DIY look! It now conveys a professional image that agrees with the message of his book and does a much better job of promoting sales.
